About
Clinician by training. Systems builder by practice.
I am a physician and clinical microbiologist with more than 15 years of making care safer and health systems stronger across India, Sri Lanka, Qatar and the United States.
I have strengthened 250 blood banks and 80 laboratories under US CDC funded national programmes, led first time JCI accreditation at two 400 bed hospitals in Chennai and Colombo, built the first quality and regulatory partnership between Qatar Airways Medical Division and Qatar's Ministry of Public Health, and delivered an electronic health record across nine California counties with 99% adoption.
What connects this work is a belief that quality lives in daily operations, not in audits. It shows in how a hospital runs, how a lab result becomes the right clinical decision, and how data reaches the people who act on it. My business excellence training at UC Berkeley (COBE) and my AI and data science studies at Stanford and UC Berkeley let me bring clinical, operational and digital thinking to the same table.
Today I work with hospitals, diagnostic networks, health tech companies, governments and global health programmes across India, the GCC and South Asia, as an advisor, on defined projects, or within their leadership teams.
